Noiyo River Cobblestones 2" - 4" - Pallet Wire Basket Per Ton

This rounded smooth hard surface rock comes from the rivers of the Sierra Nevada that flow into the Central Valley of California. Contrary to some web sites the name does not reflect its origin. Demand for this cobble is huge and it is processed at more than one location. So colors can vary a little. It is a good idea to ask for samples of current production. This rock almost looks like small smooth dinosaur eggs. It has natural color tones of beige, brown, grey and cream colors. This rock makes a perfect dry or wet creek bed material. It is used extensively as a ground cover in residential and commercial landscaping.
Features
  • Noiyo River Cobblestones 2" - 4" Per Ton covers:
54 square feet - 3" deep. This is too shallow you will see the soil or weed fabric. It will look better with a 2" layer of gravel or decomposed granite as a base to lay the river rock on. 40 square feet - 4" deep. This works well but will have superior results with a 2" layer of gravel or decomposed granite as a base to lay the river rock on.

    Noiyo River Cobblestones 2" - 4"
    - 1/3 Yard Tote Bag covers:
18 square feet - 3" deep. This is too shallow you will see the soil or weed fabric. It will look better with a 4" layer of gravel or decomposed granite as a base to lay the river rock on. 13 square feet - 4" deep. This works well but will have superior results with a 2" layer of gravel or decomposed granite as a base to lay the river rock on.

The square foot coverage per ton of gravel will vary slightly with the surface and designs of the project, waste, etc. will affect area coverage. The information is based on average ton and cubic yard amounts. This decorative building stone has naturally occurring colors and shade variations. These give this stone the natural beauty and uniqueness that causes its appeal. Color tone change can sometimes occur with aging or maintenance practices of the location it is installed therefore exact matching of existing stone may not always occur. During processing or transportation, dust will adhere to the rocks and change its appearance on arrival. Still, we guarantee all stones to be true to the specific brand name, type, and size ordered, or a complete exchange including transportation costs will be made.
